Broken dishwasher

For the past week our dishwasher has not been working. This had happened before, and, my dad and my brother did something in the electrical stuff and it worked! But it's broken again. So last friday this message was on the dry-erase board: "To whom it may concern: The absence of a working dishwasher has significantly decreased the quality of life for The Organizing mommy CEO, CFO Webber kitchens inc. Which shall here by result in a decrease of quality and/or quantity of future food stuff for the residents therein."
